The most comical
character on the Tioman trip was ... me!
I was definitely
the most comical - or most annoying, depending on whether or not
you appreciated my antics. I was being myself the whole time, right
from the time I stepped into the Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal.
First, I managed
to almost leave my luggage at the terminal. This brought hoots of
laughter from the class.
Then, during
the sea journey to Tioman, I was bouncing all over the boat, while
people all around me succumbed to seasickness.
I must have
annoyed some with my jibes targetting those that were sick, but
surely my boundless enthusiasm and energy must have amused others.
In Tioman, I
was always stared directly into the camera whenever it was pointed
at me. This generated 'classic' comic photos, which captured my
reflexes and wit. This was evident during the slideshow in school
after the trip, when my 'endeavours' were revealed.
You might say
that Lap Him's pranks at night were more comical than my behaviour,
but I disagree. His pranks were only funny to 'Him' and those of
his group.
They were certainly
entertaining to a degree, but not widely noted. Those who fell victim
to his jokes obviously saw no fun in it, and the rest were oblivious
to the numerous acts of sabotage.
Because of all
these reasons, it is clear that I was the most comical character
on the trip!
Besides, the
fact that I am writing this about myself shows that I am comical!
