Our EDS Debaters at the third round of competition.

EDS DRAMA IN FINALS

16/07/04 - After an energetic performance on Monday (12/07) at the Singapore Polytechnic Auditorium, our Drama Team secured a place in the finals of the Human Values Drama Festival on August 7th in a tight competition involving 18 secondary schools. Well done team!

EDS NIGHT 2004

29/05/04 - Our CCA members were in great form in the inaugural EDS Night: Under the Stars. In fornt of a capacity crowd, our drama groups enacted dramatic and comic plays and our dancers enthralled with passionate performances. View the programme and survey results.

KALEIDOSCOPE 2004

06/05/04 - The Dunman High School Arts and Cultural Festival (14th - 15th May) is just around the corner, and EDS will be represented by the cast of the alternative Hamlet and com member Khoo Wang Tien's Dance Group item entitled "Bring Me to Life". Download the poster in PDF here.

DEBATERS HEAD FOR SEMIS

14/04/04 - Having secured a unanimous 3-0 victory in their quarter final round against the Australian International School, our debaters are now set for a semi-final clash against United World College this Friday (16/04/04).

DEBATERS IN TOP 8

26/03/04
- Our EDS Team of Michelle Low (First Speaker), Melody Long (Second Speaker), Gayle Goh (Third Speaker) and Scott Tan (Reserve) secured a third round victory over Cedar Girls' Secondary School and now have emerged undefeated (3-0) from the preliminary rounds of the Julia Gabriels' Competition. They have qualified second in the Top 8 and will meet the Australian International School in the quarter finals on Wednesday 14th April. If you would like to come support the team, please contact Mr. Ken, Mrs Vora or Madam Stella John.

EDS CAMP 2004

13/03/04
- EDS held its first-ever camp during the first weekend of the March holidays. Organised by our committee with camp i/c Madam Stella John, it was a great success. There were workshops on stagecraft, digital drama and debates as well as games and cometitions to foster meaningful interaction between levels and strengthen CCA unity. View the survey results.

DEBATERS INTO QUARTERS

09/03/04
- Our EDS Team of Julie Chan (First Speaker), Scott Tan (Second Speaker), Gayle Goh (Third Speaker) and Christianne Nicole Tan (Reserve) defeated their counterparts from Chung Ching High School to secure a place in the quater finals of the National Library Board East Zone Debating Championships next week. Good work team!

03/03/04 - Having defeated their first round opponents in the inaugrual round of the competition, our DHS EDS Debate Team of Melody Long, Michelle Low and Gayle Goh coninued their winning form against UWC. More.

12/07/2003 - Congratulations to Joshua Tey of 3M and SAP teammates Zhang Xiayang (4A) and Luo Cheng (4A), for coming 2nd in the NJC All Secondary Schools Mathematics Competition.

MOOT VICTORY

16/06/2003 - Congratulations to the Sec 3 GEP Moot Parliament Team of Gayle Goh, Tong Lap Him, Lin Yi Han and Yu Kang Hao for their momentous effort in securing the title of Best Opposition Team in the inaugural competition. More.
